Overview
Domestic Assistant – Leeds (across 4 services) at St Anne’s Community Services.
3 posts available for 20 hours per week. Hours will be across 5 out of 7 days and will include weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Salary: £12.21 per hour. Based across 4 services on a cover basis in Hyde Park, Beeston and Woodhouse in Leeds.
Cleanliness is a priority for keeping clients safe. You will help ensure the service is clean, tidy and a welcoming place for people to live, in line with infection control measures.
This role involves working across 4 mental health services with daily contact with clients.
Location: Leeds (Hyde Park, Beeston, Woodhouse). This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020, and a Disclosure to be submitted to the DBS.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising communal areas.
- Cleaning hard floors with mops or electric floor cleaners.
- Using spray cleaners.
- Ensuring hazardous materials are stored safely and securely.
- Monitoring and refilling cleaning supplies as needed.
- Attending training sessions and meetings as required.
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Following established infection control procedures.
- Reporting maintenance or repair issues.
- Following all safety protocols.
- Cleaning and sanitising void rooms and performing deep cleaning as required.
