Job Description

FT Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Technical Project Controller based in North-West Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis.

Due to recent company growth and project wins, this is a newly created position to support the Projects Manager in a busy production environment, focusing on planning and coordinating work scopes, meeting agreed timelines and ensuring quality and safety standards are met from kick-off to final delivery.

Main duties include:

·        Understanding, planning and coordination of project requirements

·        Monitoring project progress and communicating updates to project stakeholders

·        Interpret detailed fabrication and mechanical engineering drawings

·        Proactive approach to problem solving, identifying and resolving technical issues swiftly

·        Maintain high quality and safety standards, ensuring on-time delivery that meets client expectations

·        Build strong working relationships across project and production departments, and external partners

·        Preparation of project documentation and reports

Suitable candidates should have the following:

·        Demonstrable experience in a fabrication / industrial manufacturing environment

·        Ability to read and understand technical engineering and fabrication drawings

·        Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem solving skills

·        Strong organisational and planning skills, with ability to manage multiple projects at a time

Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeenshire, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
