Location – Birmingham /Croydon– Hybrid/Office

About the role

The role is reporting to the Head of Central Reporting and locally to the UK and IE head of transversal.
The role is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of accurate and timely reports to both internal and external stakeholders. It covers all Line of Business (LoBs) within the reporting scope.
The role requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of data analysis, report visualization and communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
In addition, this role involves staying updated on reporting technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement and automation of reporting. Ultimately, the Head of reporting plays a critical role in providing actionable insights to support informed decision-making across the organization.
Primary objectives include the animation of the team to define, collect and monitor operational, business and regulatory KPIs of UK and IE Allianz Partners as well as delivering KPI reports to ensure sound decision making.
In addition, this role includes continuous analyses with LoBs to interpret KPI trends and identify improvement areas.

What you will do

  1. Report Development: Lead the design and creation of comprehensive reports to ensure that key performance indicators are properly measured and communicated across Allianz Partners UK & IE and Allianz Partner Operations.
  2. Visualization: Coordinate data visualization implementations within the different visualization tools to present information in a clear and accessible manner to all relevant stakeholders.
  3. Training and Development: Provide training and support to the Reporting teams to enhance their reporting skills and capabilities.
  4. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integrity of the reported data. Coordinate with the respective stakeholders the corrective actions to improve data quality when there are corresponding findings.
  5. Data Security: Implement measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive data in reporting processes.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and align reports with organizational goals of Allianz Partners.
  7. Data Analysis: Oversee data analysis initiatives and processes to ensure accuracy, relevance and reliability of the reported information as well as ensuring that key findings and points of attention are taken into consideration by stakeholders for further analysis.
  8. Communication: Effectively communicate complex data insights to all relevant stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  9. Technology Integration: Stay up to date with the newest reporting tools and technologies and consequently integrate innovations to improve reporting capabilities. Constantly update the reporting needs according to the digital transformation being rolled out and implemented in Allianz Partners.
  10. Compliance: Ensure reporting practices adhere to industry regulations and organizational standards of Allianz Partners.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and hence foster efficiency and effectiveness. Identify potential improvements thanks to insights coming from the indicators tracked in the different reports.
  12. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of operations professionals and foster a culture of innovation and excellence that improves AES (Allianz Engagement Survey) scores. Be an ambassador of Allianz Partners and role model our values while creating a high-performance culture and teams.

What you will bring :

  • At least 5+ years’ experience in a data-driven working environment which includes any of the following activities: KPI monitoring & performance tracking, reporting, audit, data visualization, creation of dashboards, data collection, data quality, data architecture and/or process mining.
  • Experience leading a team acting as a role model for the team members to deliver the expected outcome.
  • Strong synthesizing skills being able to properly identify key messages to communicate.
  • Strong communication skills being able to easily interact with different teams.
  • Experience working in cross-functional projects.
  • Understanding of the UK and IE regulatory environment to build mandatory regulatory reporting.
  • Excellent presentation skills (PowerPoint).
  • Understanding data system integrations and high-level architecture.
  • Strong analytical and synthesizing skills.

To actively participate in and contribute towards individual six monthly appraisals, regular review meetings and one-to-one assessment sessions.

  • To work within and be compliant at all times with all relevant regulations and legislation applicable to the role.
