SPLD Tutor – 10 hours a week (2 hours a day) Rainham – ASAP Start About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Tutor to work with a bright and energetic young person with a diagnosis of autism. The student presents complex speech, language, and social communication challenges aligned with his diagnosis. He is also sensory-seeking and thrives on physical activity, making this a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualised speech and language therapy plans tailored to the students needs. Foster the development of social communication skills through structured and creative approaches. Incorporate physical and sensory-based activities to support engagement and learning. Work collaboratively with students family and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach. Monitor and evaluate progress, adapting strategies as needed.About You: A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field. Experience working with children or young adults with autism and complex communication needs. Knowledge of sensory integration and the ability to incorporate sensory activities into therapy. Patience, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping young people reach their potential.
