Lead UI Designer – Automotive HMI Systems – Contract Are you a creative UI Designer with a passion for sleek, intuitive digital experiences? Join our team to help shape the future of in-vehicle interfaces for a leading automotive brand. We\’re looking for a visual designer who can bring brand principles to life across vehicle-based digital interfaces. Partnering closely with UX designers and developers, you\’ll craft high-fidelity, production-ready UI designs for next-generation HMI systems. This is an initial contract position till end of March paying £50 an hour. This contract will be extended another 12 months. Key Responsibilities: Apply brand and design direction to create stunning digital experiences across vehicle UI Develop and maintain component-based design systems Collaborate with UX, tech and software development teams to ensure design feasibility Build prototypes and high-fidelity mockups, iterating on feedback Manage design delivery with programme and business operations Align design efforts across multi-disciplinary teams Must-Have Skills: Proven creative experience in both agency and corporate environments Strong portfolio of visually engaging interfaces Mastery of typography, layout, and colour systems Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite Automotive or complex system design experience preferred Excellent communication and stakeholder management Comfortable working globally and at pace Join us and define how the digital future looks, feels, and moves within the car.
