Learning Support Worker Coordinator

FTE Salary: Up to £28,416.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: Up to £25,923.88
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 41 weeks per year

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
-Supporting the ALS Manager in the creation of the Overview of support
-Ongoing management of timetable changes
-Management of a team of approx 25 LSWs
-This will include all line management responsibilities including overseeing the yearly appraisal process, regular 1-to-1s and team meetings
-Curriculum liaison
-JLO’s & Learner walks
-To drive up the quality and consistency of support across college
-Manage the return and accuracy of staff timetables for audit purposes
-Supporting the funding and Audit Manager with collection of evidence for audit purposes
-Oversee completion of staff admin & tracking of support.
-Creative and review the individual LSW timetables

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
-GCSE Maths and English grade C or above
-Strong line management experience
-Experience of managing difficult and challenging situations
-Experience or demonstrable knowledge of FE
-Experience of timetabling staff
-Experience of effectively managing staff absence and appraisals.
-Knowledge or experience of working with SEN/vulnerable young people and adults
-Excellent computer literacy
