Support Growth and Strategy at Tops Day Nurseries and Shoots Training Team!
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The Business Development Manager reporting to the Director of Business Development and Chief Revenue Officer.
What You’ll Do
- To build excellent relationships with people and managers across the business to provide consistent and robust guidance and service in line with internal policies, and organisational approach including employment law.
- To actively manage parent enquiries alongside the enquiry team to support delivering improved conversion outcomes.
- To support the DBD and CRO in the implementation of new tools, processes and cross functional initiatives aimed at growing occupancy and revenue across all nursery settings, including sales process development incorporating modern technology tools like chatbots and designing digital follow up workflows, CRM reporting, net gain tracking, brand presentation alignment, coordination with marketing and operation teams and quality control through mystery shop reviews, data trend analysis and feedback into operational practices.
- This will involve travel between our Hub in Southbourne to our Tops settings across the South of England.
- Continuous progression of the teams CPD and ensuring all mandatory training is completed for the role.
- Work in partnership with others within business to ensure the fulfilment and expansion of occupancy within settings, while reviewing the nurseries promotion of the setting, including feedback of process or resources used are efficient for the needs of the users.
- Working closely with the people team for new starters and people related enquiries from the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have previous sales experience – 5 Years
- Must be able to present data in varying ways on a variety of different levels
- Desirable 2 Years in a BDM Leadership role
- Ability to manage a team and coordinate effectively
- Self-motivated, reliable, enthusiastic, team player and work effectively under pressure.
- Maintain professionalism and always handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong Administration skills – including Microsoft Office, excel, word and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage a varies programme of work, manage expectations and conflicting priorities
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to positively challenge,
- A high level of commercial awareness and a desire to deliver tangible results in a cost-effective manner.
- A strong knowledge of social media platforms, software and industry trends.
- Complete mandatory and desirable training relevant to your role, as well as being prepared to undertake CPD Continuous Professional Development as appropriate
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
