LabVantage LIMS Business Analyst – (Contract) – Onsite – MA
Leading Biotech seeks an onsite LabVantage LIMS Business Analyst in the greater Boston area. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years as business systems analyst supporting commercial-off-the-shelf products to provide solutions. This person will have a 3+ years in LIMS (ideally LabVantage) and within Life Sciences industries. This individual must have a strong understanding of business processes and regulatory environments, familiarity of running IT managed services with offshore teams, and strong skills in MS Project and Visio, along with Agile methodology expertise. Opportunity offers a 12-month long contract with possible extensions. No third-party vendors please.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related areas.
- Locally located to Boston, MA with the ability to go onsite 5 days a week.
- LIMS experience required, with LabVantage LIMS desired.
- Quality Control experience is a plus.
- Strong history in understanding business processes and working within regulatory environments.
- Strong skills in MS Office to include MS Project, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity of Agile methodology.
- Pharmaceutical is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Serving as Business Analyst to understand the needs and vision of department, while delivering technical solutions in support of systems and to enable operations.
- Providing insight on how proper utilization of technology can improve processes and support business goals and objectives.
- Developing and maintaining life cycle plans for the ongoing maintenance and management of various systems to include LIMS.
- Maintaining relationships and collaborating with strategic software vendors and providers.
- Working closely with DTE Compliance as well as Internal Audit and QA groups to ensure compliance with all appropriate regulations, along with DTE system lifecycle and change management requirements.
- A long-term 12-month contract with potential extensions.
- The ability to work as 1099 or W2 consultant (with or without benefits).
