Senior Consultant Digital / Social Insights

Our client is a fast-growing, buzzy research-based consultancy with a great range of public and private sector clients currently seeking a Senior Consultant with strong digital and social insights skills.
We seek an enthusiastic, energetic digital insights specialist, ready for your next move, working in the comms, social, digital or creative arena and will be able to hit the ground running in social media listening research.
You will bring up to the minute thinking and methods that zero in on the real sentiment and attitudes of audiences and stakeholder groups in the digital landscape, developing innovative ways to deliver insight, strategy and consultancy to clients.
You are likely to have more than 3 yearsβ experience working in social insights and analytics with a working knowledge of social media data across many platforms and tools with the ability to use social listening tools to generate insight. Pulsar is preferred but experience in similar packages such as Meltwater, Brandwatch or Crimson Hexagon would also be considered.
The broader agency does a real mix of projects so your work is likely to be on interesting projects in worthy topic areas. This will include but not limited to, quantitative and qualitative research, brand strategy, creative development and analytics. You should be an evangelist of this new and exciting way to research and driven to see it evolve in a wide range of applications. You will be naturally interested in everyday lives, society and human behaviour and be keen see organisations use your insights to develop comms or content to improve or change and adapt to the new reality.
This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, client-facing role. You will be given responsibility from day one, managing day-to-day client relationships, drafting proposals, utilising social tools and broader qual and quant data sources to identify strategic insights and turning these into impactful reports and presentations.
You will play a central role in client debriefs, allowing you to establish and build relationships and manage research projects efficiently. You will bring data to life through data visualization and building compelling storytelling with clients β be that in PowerPoint or using dashboards, podcasts, video or infographics!
This is a busy consultancy and everyone has to juggle various objectives but its full bright people doing work of a high standard that is evidenced based. An understanding of quantitative research, data planning, manipulating large data sets and data visualisation will be helpful as will a talent for collating decks that communicate effectiveness in a simple and engaging way.
