The Role:
As a Recovery Driver, you will:
- Safely and efficiently recover a variety of vehicles using specialist recovery trucks and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service during vehicle handovers and roadside assistance
- Accurately document recovered vehicle conditions and complete all necessary admin via electronic devices
- Ensure high standards of safety and professionalism are maintained at all times
- Work collaboratively with fellow recovery staff and support personnel
Requirements:
Licensing & Qualifications:
- ValidClass 2 (C)driving licence –Class 1 (C+E)preferred
- ValidDriver CPCanddigital tachograph card
- IVR training (Institute of Vehicle Recovery) preferred – training available post-probation
- No major driving convictions (DR, CD, DD, IN, or TT99 endorsements not accepted)
Experience & Attributes:
- Minimum of2 years’ experiencein recovery or tow truck driving
- Sound understanding of vehicle recovery techniques and safety standards
- Professional approach to all operations
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Able to work under pressure and unsupervised
- Team player with a proactive, flexible attitude
- Willingness to undergoNPPV and CTC security vetting
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Uniform and mobile phone provided.
- Training to gain category C+E status, if required.
