CATEGORY & SHOPPER UNDERSTANDING

  • Motivate & deliver Shopper Research, extracting key insights & recommending action plans to leverage growth opportunities.
  • Scope out & evaluate shopper media platforms & touchpoints across channels/clusters for media selection supporting shopper plans.
  • Conduct deep dive category & basket analytics to identify shopper-led trends, opportunities, & threats at category & brand levels across channels.

STRATEGIC SHOPPER PLANS

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop strategic shopper plans to support brand equity, innovation launches, & purchasing behavior, managing related budgets.
  • Work with Trade Marketing to build Channel/Cluster “Look of Success,” launch GTM plans, & shopper campaigns to implement strategic plans & capitalize on basket conversion opportunities.
  • Assist in building commercial arguments for customers & provide strategic shopper insights into Joint Business Planning & Category Reviews.
  • Review and revise Shopper Marketing Plans quarterly based on market dynamics, opportunities, & risks.

REVENUE MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinate with Revenue & Trade Marketing on pack:price architecture to meet shopper needs & optimize range performance.
  • Determine promotional mechanics & pricing levels by channel/cluster to drive brand switching & profitability, increasing basket size/mix.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure timely and complete execution of shopper marketing plans, meeting objectives & ROI.
  • Proactively manage GTM launches to maximize impact of brand innovations.
  • Review category & brand performance, identify gaps, and recommend actions.
  • Support Customer Reviews & JBP updates with shopper insights & growth initiatives.
