Overview
Reablement Support Worker | Permanent contract | £13.26 to £14.13 per hour (Scale E) | 21 hours per week | St James’ Clinic, King’s Lynn. Weekend and bank holiday working on a rota basis.
About the service
Norfolk Swift Response is a service that runs 24/7 to deliver unplanned social care services to adults in their own homes in Norfolk. As a Swift, duties include requests to assist uninjured fallers and supporting with one-off personal care needs. Workers usually visit people in their own homes in teams of two.
Responsibilities
- Assist people with daily living activities such as personal care, meal/drink preparation and medication with the aim of helping them back to independence.
- Work as part of a two-person team to provide Swift response in clients’ homes, often visiting on a rota basis.
- Complete shifts as scheduled (typical pattern includes 21 hours per week with 2:30pm to 9pm shifts; Week 1: Friday, Saturday and Sunday; Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
Requirements / Qualifications
- Both experienced social care workers and those new to care are welcome to apply; full training provided.
- Ability to work in a home-care environment and support with personal care and daily living activities.
