About The Role
You’ll be part of the Content & Community team, crafting a range of video content designed for reach, resonance, and virality. Think fast, fun, scroll‑stopping edits for LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and beyond. You’ll play a key role in shaping how Synthesia shows up on social – from product drops and launch teasers to everyday social media campaigns.
Must–Have Skills / Experience
- High‑level video editing experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proven experience editing social‑first content (organic social and/or paid ads).
- At least some basic motion design skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, highly iterative content environment.
- Experience of content ideation (you won’t just cut footage, you’ll bring ideas to help shape what gets made).
- An understanding of platform‑specific best practices (e.g., TikTok vs LinkedIn vs YouTube Shorts) – knowing what will hook people in the first 3 seconds.
Additional Skills That Would Be Awesome
- Shooting and basic production skills (especially for UGC‑style or lo‑fi footage).
