Location: West Horndon
Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: £22.05 per hour
DriverForce UK are seeking experienced HGV 2 Moffett Driver for our client based in West Horndon.
Temp to per opportunity available temp salary is £22.05 per hour, starting perm salary is £36,500.00.
If you don\’t have a Moffett licence, but a valid Counterbalance licence (not an inhouse one) our client would be willing to pay for the training, but there would be a clause in the contract if you left within an agreed timeframe you would have to pay back a percentage of the training cost)
Duties but not inclusive to:
Drive lorries to transport goods over short or long distances
Load and unload building materials
Follow traffic laws and regulations
Inspect lorries for mechanical issues and safety concerns
Maintain accurate driving logs
Communicate with dispatchers and team members
Skills/Qualifications Required:
Previous experience as a Moffett Delivery Driver within and around London, Home Counties would be ideal.
Ability to drive various types of lorries, including flatbeds & curtain-side
Excellent driving record with a valid HGV driver\’s license & Moffett Certificate or Forklift
Certificate (can be converted to cover Moffett with training) to include full driver CPC, minimum of 2 years experience would be advantageous.
Due to insurance requirement\’s the minimum age is 30 yrs.
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical condition for loading and unloading cargo & assisting in warehouse when needed
