Looking for consistent HGV driving work at a great company? We have ongoing temporary assignments for Class 1 drivers completing depot to depot runs and delivering milk products for Gist. We offer regular shifts, good rates of pay, and help find the right work to suit your needs.
As a trusted nationwide logistics partner to Gist, we have been called upon to provide various levels of driver hours, offering comprehensive support across their depot network. We are immediately seeking reliable, professional drivers to help meet a critical demand.
Pay Rates:
Days: From £18.15 per hour
Nights: From £19.35 per hour
Weekends: Up to £21.09 per hour
All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
The majority of shifts at this site are simple, no-touch runs between depots and RDCs, with minimal interaction with the load. There is also a requirement to transport cages of chilled products to stores. Drivers can expect an average of 1 to 3 drops per shift, depending on the route and load. A full induction and training is provided to ensure you are safe and efficient from day one.
There are a variety of shift patterns available, and night and weekend shifts are available for those looking to boost their earnings. Shift lengths are typically around 10-13 hours, so talk to us about what works for you.

Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
Minimum 18 months of recent HGV driving experience required
No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
