Steer Automotive Group is seeking a Remote Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our expert team in the North East. The Role As a Remote VDA, you’ll play a critical role in delivering accurate vehicle damage assessments, ensuring exceptional service for our customers. Using Audatex, you’ll create detailed repair estimates, manage your workload across multiple locations, and uphold BSI PAS 10125 standards. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct damage assessments for vehicles, including hybrid and electric models, using Audatex to generate precise repair estimates. * Collaborate with insurance engineers and customers to streamline the repair process. * Manage and prioritize workloads efficiently to meet service level agreements (SLAs). * Work independently across a regional area, adapting to changing demands. * Maintain high standards of professionalism in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. About You We’re looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented professional with experience in vehicle damage assessment. Whether you’re ATA/NVQ qualified or have years of hands-on experience, we value your expertise and dedication to delivering outstanding results. What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor. * Proficiency with Audatex for repair cost estimation. * Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle assessments is a plus. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * A customer-first approach and commitment to high-quality service. * The ability to work independently while meeting targets. * Flexibility to travel within the North East region.
