Our product portfolio spans across automotive components and systems, including instrument panels, console systems, door panels, headliners and overhead systems to automakers around the world. The company has approximately 60 total locations and employs more than 17,000 people globally.

Quality Technician

Role Responsibilities

  • Drive internal and external quality issues
  • Ensure working & master samples are valid and available for production
  • Issue and monitor Quality Alerts and ensure they are being adhered to
  • Initiate temporary/permanent fix to quality problems
  • Ensure audits on product have been conducted
  • Assist customer for concerns on shift
  • Visit customer when required
  • Support line trials
  • Global 8D reporting – using multifunctional team support
  • Support operations
  • Support Production 1st – off procedure
  • Role Requirements – Preferred but not essential

  • ONC (or equivalent) in Q/C Techniques
  • Working knowledge of FMEA’s and control plans
  • Understanding of IATF16949, ISO 9001 quality standards
  • Process & Product Audit experience
  • Metrology Experience
  • X-rite colour measurement
  • APQP understanding
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings
  • Good communicator at all levels within the business
  • PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Project
  • Able to generate informative and accurate data
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of Paint, Plastic and Assembly high volume processes
