Refuse HGV Driver Location: Oldham Pay: £14.19 per hour Hours: 7am – 5pm – Monday – Friday (including bank holidays if required) We are looking for Refuse Waste Drivers to work in and around Oldham. Key Responsibilities * Vehicle checking and completing paperwork prior to starting each morning. * Collecting rubbish and recycling from residential homes. * Driving around the local Borough in a safe and effective manner. * Taking full lorries to waste management sites and empty load. * Responsible for crew. * Some loading may be required to help team. Requirements * LGV Class C or C+E Driving Licence (heavy goods vehicle). * Valid CPC drivers qualification card. * Valid Digicard. * Good knowledge of the local area. * Experience of driving refuse, recycling vehicles beneficial – Training will be provided. * The ability to work well with others. * The ability to operate and control equipment. * To be thorough and pay attention to detail. * The ability to organise your time and workload. * Excellent customer service skills as dealing with the general public. * The ability to work well under pressure. * Knowledge of public safety and security. * Working in all weather conditions.
