Are you an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License looking for a new role in a company with nearly 150 years of experience within the logistics and removals sector? Due to continued growth, we\βre looking for a Class 2 Driver, that\βs hard-working and resilient as you\βll be delivering and loading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high valued artwork. You\βll be part of a team delivering a premium service, loading and unloading, ensuring great care is put into the safe journey of our client\βs valued items and your colleagues. Requirements Skills, Qualifications And Licences
- HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (essential)
- Team leading and/or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Digital Tacho Driver Card (essential)
- Drivers Qualification Card (CPC) (essential)
- Knowledge of established legal tachograph procedures (essential)
- ADR β Packages (preferred)
- Domestic Removals Experience
Daily Responsibilities
- Vehicle daily checks of your allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t /3.5t vehicle.
- Ensuring the vehicle is equipped with all the relevant specialist equipment required for the days operation.
- Lifting and packing a range of Laboratory equipment, furniture, fine art and more.
- Taking goods in or out of storage.
- Lifting and moving loads in excess of 25kg.
- Ensuring the highest of standards are met when on site.
- Responsible for your health and safety or you and colleagues.
- Always deliver excellent customer care and service.
- Complying with all company and health and safety procedures.
