Job Title: Town Planner Location: Birmingham The Company: Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an independent Planning Consultancy whose close-knit team is seeking a Town Planner to join the team in their Birmingham office. The Role As a Town Planner, you will: Handle a variety of projects across sectors such as residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and associated reports. Provide expert planning advice to clients, stakeholders, and local authorities. Conduct site visits, assessments, and liaise with multidisciplinary teams. Stay informed about planning policies and regulations to ensure compliance.About You We are looking for a candidate who: Has experience in a town planning role, preferably within a consultancy environment. Holds a relevant degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accreditation or working towards it is preferred). Demonstrates strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
