As part of our neighbourhood team, you’ll play a starring role in making this a reality for thousands of people living in our communities. The housing team is the heartbeat of our organisation. As one of our Neighbourhood Managers, you’ll act as a customer champion, advocating for our tenants and working with the wider team and external partners to get them the support they need. You’ll work hard to makes sure our customers are supported and able to sustain their tenancies, build communities and makes sure our neighbourhoods are places where our tenants can thrive. Spending your days out and about in our communities, you’ll be highly visible and the first point of contact for the tenants in your patch. You’ll welcome tenants to their new home, completing the sign-up process and making sure they have everything they need to feel at home. It will be your job to really get to know our tenants, understand their needs and make sure their voices are heard across the organisation. What you’ll bring to the team You’ll be a true advocate for our tenants – building positive relationships and taking ownership of the issues and queries they raise with you. You’ll work with the team and external partners to make sure these are resolved, and keeping tenants updated. You’ll get to know the tenants in your patch and develop a deep understanding of their needs and the needs of the wider community, working together to prioritise and address these. As a true customer champion, you’ll take a human-centric approach, implementing reasonable adjustments where required to make sure you are providing equitable services for our tenants. What we are looking for * A customer champion that will fight to get our tenants the support that they need. * Experienced in working in challenging customer facing situations, with excellent communication, diplomacy and customer service resolution and negotiation skills. * Proven understanding and experience in delivering statutory housing services or similar services. * The ability to listen and learn but most importantly to act on what you’re hearing. About the team The housing team is the heartbeat of Two Rivers Housing. It is fundamental to everything we do and plays a key role in advocating for our tenants. Whether it’s working with the wider team to get repairs or home improvements completed or reaching out to our local partners to find additional support – doing the right thing for our tenants is at the heart of everything this team does. We’ve listened to our tenants and heard what they need from the housing team now and in the future. Using this feedback, we’ve started to reshape the team to enable us to provide truly localised neighbourhood housing services. Our housing team are pretty amazing, and now we have some new exciting opportunities for people to come and join them! We have redesigned the service to allow us to have more time to be present in our neighbourhoods and really get to know our tenants. This will help us be more focussed on problem solving and nipping issues in the bud. It will also help us work more closely with other teams and partner organisations, for the benefit of our tenants and neighbourhoods.
