Support Worker – Bradford, West Yorkshire – Complex Care

Shift Patterns

Variable shift patterns available: 07.00 AM – 7 PM (Day Calls), 7 PM – 7 AM (Night Calls), 10 PM – 8 AM (Waking Nights).

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the care role.
  • Provide support with mobility and help service users move around.
  • Assist service users with personal care (undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes).
  • Assist service users with their meals.
  • Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of the service users, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Use any mechanical or non‑mechanical aids to help residents move.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service users’ activities, updating notes accordingly in care plans, etc.

Ideal Candidate

  • Hard working and honest.
  • Valid care training certificate.
  • Full, valid driving licence (personal vehicle an added advantage).
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a care setting.
  • Current and valid enhanced DBS.
  • Willing to be paid as a contractor under an umbrella company.
  • Experience in customer service.
