The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled Kitchen Manager or Kitchen Team Leader who is ready to take the next step in their career. In this leadership role, you’ll shape kitchen operations, maintain high standards, and support and develop the kitchen team at Slug And Lettuce.
Responsibilities
- The ability to support, coach, and mentor your team at Slug And Lettuce.
- Maintain a high standard of food knowledge and skill.
- Remain up-to-date with COSHH, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and legal knowledge.
- Hiring and onboarding of new team members in an inclusive and welcoming manner.
- Lead, guide, and develop your kitchen team, ensuring access to ongoing training and growth opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety, creating a safe and organised workspace.
- Manage the kitchen schedule to ensure efficient staffing while meeting labour targets.
- Conduct regular stock checks to support cost management and meet performance goals.
- Take a proactive approach to increasing sales and driving growth by fostering strong relationships between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
