You\’ll be working with pig producers and feed businesses across the UK, offering tailored nutritional support that helps them achieve better results on farm. Your technical knowledge will be matched by your commercial mindset, as you grow existing accounts and open doors to new business.
Central to your success will be your ability to build strong, long-term relationships. You\’ll take the time to understand each customer\’s setup, strategy, and pressures – becoming the go-to person they trust for insight, support, and solutions.
This is a homebased position with significant travel to visit pig farms across the UK and monthly meetings at head office.
The role:
- Build relationships and become a trusted adviser to pig producers, feed mills, and distributors
- Provide a high level of nutritional support to customers
- Understand customers\’ strategies, economic drivers, and nutritional needs in depth.
- Drive business growth by planning sales effectively and using nutritional solutions
- Continuously develop technical expertise in pig production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver superior production and nutritional support.
- National travel to visit customers
- Maintain an office presence in Yorkshire office (approx. 2 days a week)
About you:
- Strong technical understanding of pig production and nutrition
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience supporting customers in a technical sales role
