You will be responsible for the delivery of Highways Maintenance works.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

  • A knowledge and experience of civil groundworks is sentential and should include working with a live Highway environment.
  • Highways Operatives will work as part of a Team covering, minor reactive repairs (potholes, lift and relay paving) and planned construction teams. It is desirable to have working knowledge of larger construction works including, paving, kerbing, drainage, bricklaying and resurfacing.
  • You should have a level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Highways or working towards a trade qualification.
