We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Digital Media Marketing and Social Media Marketing Tutor to deliver engaging, high-quality training to adult learners. This role involves teaching a range of subjects including digital marketing strategy, content creation, social media management, analytics, and online branding.
Based in Skills and Employment Hubs and community venues, you will support learners in gaining industry-relevant qualifications and practical skills that enable them to progress into employment or further training. You will play a key role in inspiring adult learners, building their confidence, and helping them navigate the evolving digital landscape.
Digital Media Marketing & Social Media Marketing Tutor – Skills and Employment Service
We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Digital Media Marketing and Social Media Marketing Tutor to join our Skills and Employment team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for digital communication and a strong understanding of the evolving digital landscape to support adult learners in gaining the skills needed for success in today’s job market.
As a tutor, you will deliver a range of accredited and non-accredited courses up to and including Level 2, covering topics such as:
Digital marketing principles and strategy
Social media content creation and management
SEO and analytics
Email marketing and campaign planning
Branding and online presence
Use of platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube for business
You will play a key role in helping learners build confidence, develop practical skills, and progress into employment, self-employment, or further training.
We are looking for a candidate who:
Has recent industry experience in digital or social media marketing
Holds a recognised teaching qualification (or is working towards one)
Can design and deliver engaging, up-to-date, and inclusive learning programmes
Understands the needs of adult learners and can support a diverse range of individuals
Is confident using a variety of digital tools and platforms to enhance learning
You will be responsible for the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning programmes that promote social regeneration, increase community engagement, and support learner progression. All provision must embed equality and diversity, promote British values, and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Delivery will take place across the borough, including Skills and Employment Hubs, community venues, and other outreach locations. A flexible, learner-centred approach is essential.
