Further Information:
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support a 15-year-old boy living in the HU5 area of Hull.
• He enjoys:
• – Listening to music
• – Being outdoors in open spaces
• – Running freely and playing interactively
• – Cuddles and the company of adults
Although non-verbal, he is friendly and engages well with others. He prefers not to feel confined and appreciates space. Constant supervision is essential as he lacks awareness of danger. Support will include personal care and help with feeding and toileting, as he does not initiate these independently.
We require a PA who has:
• – A kind, patient, and attentive personality
• – A willingness to learn – training will be provided
• – Experience with children who have Down syndrome or similar needs is an advantage, but not essential
