SGS Green Skills Lead
Role Information:
Reference: REQ001303
Location: Based at SGS GREEN, Berkeley, GL13 9FB but travel to other campuses will be required.
FTE Salary: up to £39,495 + £5,000 market supplement for Level 3 qualification related to Renewable technologies
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

-Lead the design and development of a new Green Skills curriculum, incorporating sustainability themes into existing Further Education (FE) programmes and delivering dedicated courses for adult learners.
-Design and adapt curriculum content specifically for adult learners, embedding green skills and sustainability principles to support upskilling and career progression in low-carbon sectors.
-Contribute to or achieve income targets through programme delivery or partnership development.
-Collaborate with colleagues in Plumbing, Gas, and Renewable Technologies to ensure curriculum content aligns with current industry practices and employer expectations.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
-Understanding of the renewable energy sector, including current technologies and carbon reduction strategies.
-Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, including collaboration with employers, industry bodies, and community partners.
-Qualifications in Plumbing, Gas, or Renewable Technologies are advantageous.
