A 16 -year-old male with learning disabilities is looking for a Personal Assistant for 4 hours per week (with a view to increase). He needs a PA who is energetic adventurous and enjoys the same interests the PA will need to go Go Karting, paddle boarding, Go Ape and swimming, he enjoys going to arcades and bowling. He also like going on train to seaside
When at home the young man enjoys going on is computer, he needs encouragement to keep is room tidy
The young man is non-verbal and communicates making loud noises.
PA would need to be patient, kind, and caring and be able to build a good relationship of trust,
The PA would need to work with his mum to structure activities to keep him interested and engaged, activities cost will be met by the employer
Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority/employer.”
