About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Workshop Cleaner to join our team. As a Workshop Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our fleet, ensuring a pleasant experience for our passengers. The responsibilities of this role include assisting with the internal and external cleaning of buses and depot premises using specialised equipment and chemicals, as well as being able to work autonomously with initiative, and part of a team.

Key responsibilities:

-Perform thorough cleaning of the workshop.

-Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness.

-Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, including seats, windows, and handrails.

-Empty waste bins as needed.

-Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.

-Follow safety and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

-Assist with other cleaning duties as required.

Location: Chelmsford

Job Type: 39 hours per week

Shift Patterns: Monday – Friday Day Shift

Hourly Rate: £13.00

About you

-Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience is essential.

-Ability to work independently and efficiently.

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

-Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

-Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies as needed.
