Job Overview
A job opportunity has arisen for successful candidates to join part of our busy Hotel Services Team on Sites at Ysbyty George Thomas Hospital. The positions will support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Housekeeping and Catering services to the National Standards for these services in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and 9, and Organisational Standards. To assist in developing, maintaining, and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team‑working practices, and helping to maintain open, effective communication.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning of all areas of the Hospital in accordance with departmental schedules and specifications and in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness.
- Performing catering duties as required by the Job Description when service pressure demands it.
- Adapting to service pressures and modernization with flexibility.
- Maintaining flexibility with respect to movement throughout all Health Board sites.
- Observing and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, courtesy and consideration to all patients and fellow employees.
Work Details
This post is paid on a monthly basis.
