PARTS ADVISOR. Stephen James BMW is looking for an experienced and motivated Parts Advisor to join its team. YOUR ROLE. As a Parts Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations within our parts department that supports both the workshop and a retail counter. Your expertise in identifying and ordering the correct parts will help serve both internal and external customers, consistently exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional service. You will drive growth in all aspects of the parts business through direct selling, leveraging your knowledge of our stock, available products, and competitor offerings. Routine stock checks, proactive customer follow-ups, and strong relationships with suppliers and drivers will be integral to your success. The main duties of the role include: Liaise with customers both on the telephone and face-to-face, assisting to identify and source parts Ensure parts are correctly ordered to specification and checked on arrival Follow up with customers on the progress of parts and prices Maintain a tidy Parts department and workstation Conducting stock checks, maintaining accurate inventory, and proactively managing stock levels. YOUR PROFILE. Proven experience as a parts advisor, preferably in a franchised motor-trade environment. Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others. Proficiency in using Kerridge/Drive and ETK systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be eligible to work in the UK ABOUT US. Basic Salary: £30,000 (depending on experience) OTE £36,000 per annum + Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm or 7am–5pm, and Saturdays 8am – 12.30pm on a rota basis (Saturdays to be paid as overtime) BENEFITS.
