We are looking for a Plumbing Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same. Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Plumbing Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. As the Plumbing Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Plumbing Engineer, will be responsible for: * Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. * The successful candidate will ensure that SHE standards are maintained and will liaise with engineers and subcontractors. * A proactive approach to client liaison is essential, ensuring that concerns are addressed or relayed to management as necessary. * The role requires compliance with and enforcement of existing business risk management procedures for maintenance and project works. * You will need to understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time. * Additionally, you will investigate and report in detail on infrastructure shortfalls, problems, and incidents, recommending options for remedial actions. * Coordination of connections to existing plant/systems and effective use and maintenance of O&M Manuals and quality procedures are also key responsibilities. * The position requires availability for scheduled and unplanned weekend working. * Compliance with company and statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and localised fire regulation procedures is mandatory. To be successful for this Plumbing Engineer role you must have: * NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent. * Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivation are crucial. * Substantial practical experience with a comprehensive knowledge of all building services disciplines.
