Projects Assistant Based in West Yorkshire for a leading high end joinery manufacturer and specialist interior fit-out contractor. Operating across a range of sectors including hospitality, stadia, modular build, universities and B&I. About the role of Project Assistant Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Projects Assistant will aid the Admin, Commercial, Design and Operations teams, to ensure the smooth and safe delivery of projects from initial enquiry through to final handover Responsibilities for Project Assistant Provide daily support to internal teams Assisting with document management on all projects, ensuring compliance with company policies Working with suppliers to obtain and review quotes, and raising purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors Assisting with production of Health and Safety files and documentation in line with company policies and applicable legislation Assisting with Supply Chain Management, ensuring systems and documentation is kept up to date General company administration including arranging travel and accommodation where necessary Working with the Marketing Team to keep latest content up to date Requirements for Project Assistant. Administration NVQ level 3 or demonstrable experience in a similar role General IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and experience of working on digital information and applications is essential Knowledge of Sage Accounting software would be desirable Exceptional communication and organisational skills Ability to work effectively in a team and on their own, and communicate clearly with various stakeholders Knowledge of the construction industry would be desirable What we offer for Project Assistant £30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience) Mobile Phone / Laptop (inc. personal use) 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays.
