This is a hands-on, leadership-level role for someone who wants to make a real impact. What You’ll Be Doing Leading end-to-end electronics projects: hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and control. Taking ownership of designs from concept through to delivery and customer integration. Mentoring junior engineers and apprentices, helping shape the next generation of talent. Interfacing directly with customers to gather requirements and troubleshoot in the real world. Driving technical decisions, risk assessments, and project planning. You’ll be supported by a skilled and collaborative team, but you’ll also have the autonomy to lead, design, and deliver in your own style. Desirable (but not essential) If you tick some of these, you\’re already ahead of the pack: Embedded C/C++/Python development (8- or 32-bit targets). Firmware standards (MISRA) and debugging tools (JTAG, SWD). PCB layout (e.g., KiCad), SPICE simulation, or high-speed digital design. Experience with mission-critical or ruggedised equipment (rail, defence, aerospace).
