How You’ll Make An Impact
- Design cubicles and integrate all hardware components.
- Create Bill of Materials, terminal diagrams, cable lists, and termination schedules.
- Coordinate with cubicle manufacturers and perform inspections.
- Prepare design specifications, overview diagrams, and concept clarifications.
- Participate in or lead design review meetings to identify and correct errors.
- Discuss with other departments to prepare division of works.
- Validate design drawings/documents from sub-suppliers to meet specifications.
- Provide support during tests and commissioning, and collaborate with customers and colleagues.
Your background
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Professional Experience: Prior experience with HVDC projects and at least three years of work experience in the UK.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge in control and protection panel design (CRP).
- Additional Skills: Site experience in control and protection testing and commissioning is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with CAD tools for control systems, such as Engineering Base or Ruplan, is highly valued.
- Specialized Knowledge: EMC knowledge or experience with AC sub-stations and control systems is considered a plus.
