PURPOSE OF JOB:
(OVERALL DESCRIPTION OF THE POST WITHIN THE TEAM AND ORGANISATION)
As the AWS Public Cloud Team Manager, you will lead a team of AWS specialists and strategically drive the AWS sales proposition from a commercial perspective. You will collaborate with Divisional Sales Directors, Sales Managers, and the Cloud Pre-sales Manager to align sales approaches and campaigns, aiming to drive profitable sales of services, managed services, large-scale transformation projects, and complementary vendor solutions within your team. Additionally, you will collaborate with various departments across the organisation to foster a culture of excellence. By setting a strong example and effectively guiding your team, you will help them reach their highest potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage a team of AWS specialists, ensuring they are aligned to Bytes values and strategy, foster a high-performance culture, and maximise each team member’s potential.
- Monitor the team\’s performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and aligned targets. Work on individual development and improvement if targets are not met.
- Drive the AWS sales proposition from a strategic commercial standpoint, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Work with Divisional Sales Directors, Sales Managers, and the Cloud Pre-sales Manager to align sales approaches and create effective sales campaigns.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to drive cloud growth and sell Bytes services.
- Provide AWS Commercial Sales support to Account Managers and their customers to advance opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies within the AWS specialist team to drive profitable sales.
- Contribute to the development of the AWS proposition, creating standardised and consistent processes and ensuring adherence by the team.
- Develop know-how, best practices, and foster creative thinking within the team.
- Work with key AWS Stakeholders to increase Bytes\’ credibility as a leading partner and align with their customer engagements to reduce the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with Marketing to produce compelling content across multiple media channels.
- Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
