Midlevel (3-7 Years)

We’re looking for a Portfolio Management Analyst to join our Technology Services team to support, enable, and track the successful delivery of change and BAU portfolios. The role involves working closely with the Delivery, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure all aspects of the portfolio are effectively tracked and reported in various forums, including monthly steering committees and quarterly change reviews.

In this role, you\’ll collaborate with our immediate teams and the broader business. We seek someone who is an outstanding communicator, approaches work with confidence and enthusiasm, and has a genuine passion for data, finance, and achieving results.

Responsibilities

  1. Portfolio Finances – Oversee monthly reconciliation of Oracle and change actuals, partnering with Delivery Managers to align value stream financial spreadsheets. Proactively challenge and validate forecasts and estimates. Collaborate with Finance to understand the Corporate Reporting dashboard and Marketplace tool, identify unassigned costs, and maintain a comprehensive financial spreadsheet for visibility.
  2. Change Oversight – Maintain awareness of all active change and BAU initiatives. Understand the Tech Services value stream, squad, and cost centre structure.
  3. Resource Management – Track and report on resource utilization and advise on over/under-utilization.
  4. Portfolio Reporting – Develop and manage effective reporting aligned with standards to enable data-driven decisions.
  5. Continuous Improvement – Partner with the department to ensure effective delivery, control, and process improvements within the portfolio.

Requirements and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Portfolio Management Office or Project Office role.
  • Financial and budgetary expertise is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and soft skills.
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, or a solid understanding of them.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
