Position Description

Join the PCS faculty of friends with this entry-level teaching position designed to help recent graduates or others new to education learn how to teach in a highly structured environment. This part-time, ten-month position would combine a smaller load of leadteaching in our Upper School with regular class observations and aide/sub work across a variety of grade levels.

All full-time teaching positions require a bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required for part-time positions. PCS values education degrees but does not require them. We will ultimately consider candidates whose educational background, professional experience, and abilities enable them to thrive in our unique Christ-centered, classical environment.

Any applicant must be able to provide PA state criminal and child abuse clearances, as well as federal criminal clearance documents. All employees must be able to sign our statement of faith and provide information about church membership and involvement.
