Admin & Technical Support Officer Pay: £13.95 per hr, 18.5 hr per week Ideally working Monday, Thursday and Friday, but happy to discuss. Start time 9am. Location: office based only in Stowmarket Length: 3 months Are you available immediately? Do you enjoy office environment? Opus People Solutions are recruiting for Admin and Technical Support Officer on behalf Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council to assist a very busy admin team with a variety of admin tasks and will be based at Stowmarket Depot. The role is going to be mainly the day-to-day running of our generic mailbox, answering queries and passing them on to correct departments/team members. Alongside this there will be the use of our worksheet generating system which will be the processing of mostly fly tip reports to send on to the appropriate team. Full training will be provided for both and there will be continuous support throughout your time here. There will be opportunity for some involvement in other tasks if appropriate. The right candidate would demonstrate excellent customer service skills in order to resolve queries at first point of contact, the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads, good attention to detail and general IT skills.
