Gloucestershire College is recruiting a Head of Safeguarding (DSL) . This is an exciting opportunity to join the college, with this role serving as a pivotal and highly valued member of staff, providing operational direction and leadership to an important department.

The main purpose of this role is to lead and manage safeguarding and child protection across the college, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students, particularly those who are vulnerable. As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) , you will be the primary point of contact for safeguarding concerns and will ensure that the college complies with all statutory responsibilities under Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) , Ofsted requirements, and other relevant legislation.

This is a full-time, year-round position with up to 37 hours per week, offering the opportunity to work across Gloucester, Cheltenham, and Cinderford campuses .
