About the role
We’re now recruiting a Front of House Receptionist on a fixed term contract until March 2027. This is a part time role covering Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. Typical hours are 8.30am – 4.45pm each day.
Working as part of a small and friendly team, you’ll be responsible for proactively managing the reception area at Drax Power Station. The role will involve ensuring that all visitors are greeted warmly and professionally, answering phone calls promptly and redirecting where necessary, as well as ensuring that communal areas like meetings rooms and kitchen areas are maintained throughout the day.
Responsibilities will include office administration such as printing, organising courier collections and ordering office supplies. You’ll also manage taxi bookings for visitors and colleagues, as well as the booking of all site pool cars.
Who we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you’ll have previous experience working in a busy reception environment. You’ll thrive by helping others and have a strong focus on delivering excellent customer experience.
This role requires strong communication skills and confidence providing support to both internal and external visitors on site. You’ll be proactive, with good planning and time management skills.
You’ll also be skilled using Microsoft Office applications, and we’ll support with training for other software used at Drax.
