A Rare Opportunity to Lead Sales at the Heart of a Global Automotive Brand
We’re partnering with one of the world’s most iconic and forward-thinking vehicle manufacturers, an OEM renowned for both its heritage and bold electric future. With a strong UK footprint and serious ambition, they’re seeking a Head of Sales to lead the national sales strategy across 100+ UK retailers.
This is a key role, designed for an experienced and commercially sharp leader who can shape the sales engine, inspire teams, and influence stakeholders at board level.
The Opportunity
As Head of Sales, you’ll own UK sales performance and operational delivery. That means shaping strategies, refining processes, managing volume targets, and leading people, all with a clear line of sight to long-term brand success.
Your leadership will directly impact market share, dealer performance, and commercial integrity across a nationwide retail network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UK sales operations, including delivery planning, reporting, and retail performance tracking.
- Design and implement mid-term (6–12 month) sales strategies and incentive programs.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Distribution, and Finance in a complex OEM matrix.
- Support and challenge the wider sales team to maximise retailer potential.
- Represent commercial performance in senior forums and at board level.
- Be a hands-on coach and leader to a high-performing team, developing internal talent for future succession.
What We’re Looking For:
This role is made for someone with current OEM pedigree, retail sales strength, and natural leadership flair. You’ll be just as comfortable reviewing sales trends as you are building strategy slides for senior leadership.
You’ll bring:
- Current OEM experience managing retail sales operations.
- A deep understanding of UK dealer networks, margin dynamics, and market challenges.
- A track record of volume delivery while maintaining brand and commercial integrity.
- Gravitas to influence senior stakeholders and gain trust across the business.
- Experience leading and coaching teams through change and growth.
- The ambition and capability to step into a broader leadership role in the near future.
