Position Description
The ideal candidate will be familiar with Classical Christian distinctives. Applicants must
embody Christian virtue, demonstrating a personal relationship with Jesus. The candidate will be
patient and have experience assisting with teaching any age group from Kindergarten through
fifth grade. He or she will demonstrate an ability to assist the Lead Teacher by collaborating on
lesson plans, leading various parts of lessons as instructed by the Lead Teacher, assisting the Classroom Teacher in grading and lesson preparation, nurturing and training students in behavior and classroom routines, and communicating with parents as needed. This position requires an educator mature in their walk of faith who loves teaching and shepherding children. He or she will be a person who is personable, organized, and committed to providing a caring and engaging learning environment in which studentsβ hearts, minds, and souls are cultivated and nurtured.
