Every Tatcha formula is crafted at the Tatcha Institute in Tokyo, where leading scientists innovate within tradition: balancing timeless Japanese botanicals with proven clinical ingredients to work with skin, not against it.
The Role Description: Trade Marketing Manager – Tatcha UK/EU
We have an exciting opportunity to hire an ambitious, passionate, and driven Trade Marketing Manager for Tatcha UK/EU. In this role you will report into the Senior Marketing Manager UK/EU and work alongside the National Account Manager UK/EU, developing holistic and integrated trade marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer experience, retail sales results, and category objectives within our retail partners with a focus on maximum ROI.
You will be responsible for one direct report.
Each day at Tatcha is different with new challenges to solve and tasks to tackle, but here is a snapshot of things you will work on.
Retail Marketing
- Collaborate with Senior Marketing Manager UK/EU on building 360 UK/EU Trade Plans and Retail Marketing Calendar. Understand and analyse trade opportunities, placements and accompanying marketing levers and support the National Account Manager in negotiations with retailers. Ensure seamless execution and recap performance.
- Drive visibility across all key channel levers in turn driving awareness, acquisition and sales. Inclusive of retailer.com levers, animations, marketing events, digital marketing, social media and COOP.
- Build and present strong briefs to all cross-functional Global partners.
- Adapt brand materials for market and channel-specific needs. Help brief, translate, develop, and distribute brand content.
- Collect & analyse reports for retailer-specific programs and make recommendations based on data. Analyse program performance to deliver both quantitative and qualitative feedback and recommend actions..
- Develop and manage retailer execution of sampling programs.
- Prepare retailer presentations as needed and drive ongoing marketing touch-base agendas.
MERCHANDISING STRATEGY
- Collaborate with Senior Marketing Manager Eu/UK on determining in-store and .com assortments across channels and fixture types/visual merchandising/Product Pages with strong conversion levers based on ongoing merchandising analysis, performance metrics, and competitive environment.
BUDGET MANAGEMENT
- Propose annual marketing budget for each channel’s marketing needs; track spending and COOP to budget, review and process all invoices, provide ad hoc analysis, assist with reconciliation.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree 6+ years of experience in Marketing, preferably within prestige beauty industry, focused on skincare, leading the process end to end. Strong customer understanding, with an eye to innovation and future trends Experience working with retailers, specifically Sephora UK & EU. French speaking (Italian and Spanish a plus) and frequent travel to specified countries. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
