Job Description
We’re looking for a Head of Group Treasury that will lead our Treasury function (part of the Group Finance Team) . You will report directly into the Group CFO .
Core Tasks
Group Fiat and Crypto, Treasury Management:
Adhere to the principles and guidelines set out in the Group Treasury policy
- Full ownership in adapting and keeping the Group Treasury policy up to date in line with market and industry conditions.
- Assist with facilitating the opening (and closing) and management of (fiat) bank accounts + KYC – in the EU, UK and Overseas
- Opening, guardianship and management of company Crypto wallets, on & off ramps and company cards across the group of companies
- Overseeing the procurement of crypto payments to suppliers, contractors, staff or other internal/3rd parties
- Assist with fiat payments across the group of companies, when necessary
- Full ownership and accountability of Treasury working capital management across the group
- Ad-Hoc tasks as requested from the board/CFO from time to time
Investment/Asset Management
- Full ownership and accountability across the group for:
- Liquidity management
- Asset management
- FX management
Administration
- Assist the MLRO (Money Laundering Risk Officer) with AML and KYC/KYB compliance obligations
- Assist in creating and maintaining key policy and procedure documents
- Assist with company formations (across multiple jurisdictions) + set up
- Liaise with and support external advisors (accountants, lawyers, auditors)
Essential Requirements
- Prior all round Treasury experience is essential Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is required
- Ideally you will hold a recognisable Treasury qualification and/or professional accountancy qualification or equivalent
- Recognised crypto exchange Treasury background/experience is highly desirable
- Strong interest in Crypto, the blockchain and web3 – must have in-depth knowledge and experience in this space
- Investment/asset management experience is essential along with connections/network in this space
- Strong administrative skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy, intensity and speed
- An aptitude for accounting and crypto IT software (ie – Xero, crypto exchanges + cold wallets, off-ramp/on-ramp etc)
- Good commercial understanding + awareness – particularly iGaming and crypto revenue generating activities
- Keeps up to date with relevant EU and international crypto ops and regulatory developments and legislation
- Manage and get the optimal productivity out of a team
- Teamworker who is able to liaise and transcend across multiple departments across the business and entities
- Has the desire to develop and learn, in addition to teach and train others – self-development through courses and training
- Problem solver with a mindset of finding solutions
