Your Responsibilities
- To ensure the safe and efficient running of the refining processes in liaison with production colleagues and management.
- Ensuring critical control points within the process to ensure the products meet food safety as well as quality requirements.
- To ensure Health and Safety, food safety, environmental compliance regulations and company standards are maintained in the refining processes.
- Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the department following GMP standards.
- To perform small maintenance related jobs and liaise with maintenance department in regards more complex matters.
- To ensure safe start-up, running and shutdown of plant and machinery in the refining processes.
- Ensure product throughput and quality is maintained to required levels in the refining processes.
- To accurately maintain production process records and paperwork.
- To liaise with other process departments to ensure the whole process is running smoothly.
- To assist and contribute to Performance Excellence initiatives at Erith.
Your Profile
- Experience working in a production / operations process environment similar to Erith.
- Educated to GCSE (or equivalent level) with good basic mathematical & English written skills.
- Good IT skills, able to use email and basic computer packages.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- A strong affinity to continuous improvement in a production environment
- A strong commitment to safety in a production environment.
