Police Constable Non-Degree Apprenticeship Programme
The Non-Degree Apprenticeship Programme (PCDA) is a structured three-year programme that will be delivered by the Force in partnership with University of Northampton. This enables individual to perform the paid role of Police Constable developing operational competence, whist attaining a degree in policing.
During the 3-year period student officers will undertake a variety of learning and development activities, to equip and prepare them for the police officer role, mixed with operational deployment as a police officer.
Our PCDA pathway is fully funded by Northamptonshire Police, and at the successful conclusion of the programme, will be awarded a Level 6 Degree in Professional Policing Practice.
