A leading financial services institution is looking for a Backup Administrator/Engineer to join their infrastructure team, ensuring backup environments are stable, secure, and scalable across their international operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and maintaining enterprise-scale backup environments (Veeam, TSM/Spectrum Protect, NetBackup)
- Performing daily/weekly checks, lifecycle management, and capacity planning
- Supporting operational backup activities across Windows, Linux, and Solaris platforms
- Troubleshooting performance and stability issues
- Implementing and automating backup processes in line with best practice and compliance requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience with Veeam and/or IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) – essential
- Knowledge of NetBackup is a plus
- Familiarity with Windows, RHEL, or Solaris environments
- Some scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-driven attitude
