Here at Simpson and Parsons (part of Jensten Group), we are seeking to recruit an Administration Assistant to join our friendly and experienced insurance team based in the heart of the Lakes.
Reporting to the General Manager and working within a small team, the main purpose of the role is to support the smooth running of the office while providing friendly and efficient service to our clients.
This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to work for a successful local independent insurance broker and learn from an experienced team.
Key responsibilities as an Administration Assistant will include:
- Assist in managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry and document preparation.
- Handle incoming calls and emails from clients, providing efficient and friendly service.
- Support the team by processing policy applications, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and within established timelines.
- Check documentation from insurers to ensure errors or omissions are corrected prior to issue to clients.
- Liaise with insurers and clients to obtain information and updates, inputting accurately into the system.
About you
As an administrator, you will have experience working in a fast-paced office environment, with the ability to multitask and a desire to start and progress your career in insurance.
You will also have:

- The ability to work supportively and collaboratively with colleagues.
